My Mid-Semester Vacation

So during Spring Break I took a trip to Boston to meet my friends from my graduating class. Boston although a small city has an amazing culture, it reminded me a lot of Small towns in Italy or Belgium due to its narrow streets and brick buildings. Boston also has a ridiculously fun night life for those who are interested. Best part is the city is a student city just like the south loop in Chicago. Boston also has an Italian district with some of the best Italian food I've tasted. On the whole I know that I'm going to be going to Boston again later this year, I rate it as a must see. 

So after I got back from Spring Break I was off for another vacation to celebrate my Dads 50th. I went back home to surprise him, Bombay is developing very fast its looking beautiful and is still possessing its number one trait of being Vibrant. I only spent a night home, because we were of to the Maldives! The Maldives is a country filled up of many small Islands, its right off the coast of India. Its a bit like the Bahamas but more cloistered and peaceful. Consisting of light blue water and white sand with a back drop of palm trees and beautiful birds and fish. I rate this as another must see, though it is a steep in terms of price, try and make it a point to visit on special occasion for example your 50th. 

Let Music Be Your Master

So I'm not exactly sure what this Blog is abt because I forgot my Syllabus in my dorm room, bt I know it has something to do with music. Well as far as music goes my moto is I can appreciate any genre of music just as long as its consonant enough. My favorite Genre's would be Alternative Rock and Indie Rock and thats because both equally display an abundance of consonance with their catchy guitar harmonics, fast paced drum beats, swinging bass lines, and most importantly a harmonious range of vocals. 

Although ppl don't usually have just one number one band or solo artist I do; Solely because I've been able to listen to them everyday for almost a year now. They are called Foals. Who are Foals? Foals are an Brit Dance alternative math rock band from Oxford England. Definitely worth a listen. 

Music is master because it has the ability to set a mood or comply with the mood your in. Other forms of Art such as film also have this ability but are harder to seek as making a good movie is far tougher than making a good song. Music can adapt to any and everything and because of how technology has progressed it does adapt to any and everyday situations, with the help of such items like iPods, or mp3 players.
